3 things you can do to prepare for your facial with Purey Polished.
1. Find a space in your home that you wish to be used to unwind and relax.
When booking a facial with Purely Polished, we bring a portable bed to service you in your home. All you need to do is provide us with a space to set up our beds with a small stool or table if possible for our beautician to set up products for ease of access.
Depending on the professional you have been matched with, they may ask for additional things like a power point or other facilities to provide you with a bespoke experience.
Each of our professionals has their own unique sparkle in how they like to provide a facial experience. Where the basis of getting a facial with Purely Polished is standard, additional elements such as background music and brand of products is dependent on your beautician. This is why we have a ‘rebook’ functionality - to ensure you can book your favourite professional and keep consistency in the services you are receiving!
My house is very small with no real space to feel pampered. What do I do?
As long as you’re comfortable, that’s all that matters to us. The Purely Polished team are used to working with groups of people in hotel rooms, influencer events with a small space to provide a quick cleanse standing up!
Can I get a facial service on my bed?
For safety and security reasons, no. We don’t allow massage services to be conducted on a customer’s bed. This is for instances including:
- Our facial professionals may not have the easiest 180 access to conduct a profesional service.
- To ensure a strict guideline for intimate related circumstances, we have a no bed policy.
Can I get a facial standing up in my bathroom..?
The purpose of a Purely Polished facial is to push for relaxation through a professinal pamper in the comfort of your own home. We do however tailor each experience to suit your needs, if you request for a stand up facial whilst getting ready for an event or other occasian, we can adapt to your request!
All in all, our professionals are adaptable to work in any space! If you’re unsure of where is best to set up, we will go through the options with you upon arrival.
2. How to prepare your skin and face for a facial.
When booking a facial with Purely Polished, we recommend having no makeup on for your appointment. All facials are inclusive of an initial cleansing process, wherein cases you do have makeup applied, it will be removed.
Things to note:
Your hair may get wet or messy during the process. We place a headband over your hair to avoid getting it wet, however, it is not 100% guaranteed.
For acne-prone skin, we recommend you advise your Purely Polished professional what type of products/brand your skin retaliates to. Everyone’s skin type is different, no matter the concern. Awareness of knowing what is good for your skin and not is an important start to your skin journey.

3. Check that you’ve added your special requests and requirements into your booking order.
With being a mobile beauty and wellness service, our professionals come equipped each day to service their allocated bookings and appointments. Should you have any special requests including:
A request for vegan-only products to be used
A balm cleanser, not an oil cleanser due to skin irritation.
No use of a specific brand due to personal reasons etc.
An add-on for a face/ contouring massage (a popular demand!)
Please ensure all requirements are listed in your booking before your chosen date to ensure our professionals are packing the correct products and tools to conduct your service. If you make a booking with requirements from the get go, we ensure we match you with the right professional who specialises with that particular request.
If you’re looking to extend your massage appointment, want to add on more services to your session (extended face massage, face/temple massage, a skin consultation etc), to ensure a guarantee of your service requests, we highly recommend to request for this when booking in your appointment. In saying that, our professionals are equipped to add on services during your appointment through the platform for any in the moment requests. However, we ask for understanding that time is a factor that your therapist may not be able to provide.
